This trail starts at our stables, Maneggio Sulcis, and heads
towards an ancient Church, the chiesa di Palmas. Next, we
ride on to Porto Botte, where you will be able to see some
pink flamigos ..
Continuing along the Is Solinas beach with its
characteristic Mediterranean Juniper bushes and sand dunes,
and then along the coastline of the Palmas gulf, we come to
a beach known as Su Portu e Su Trigu. The trail then passes
through some lovely ‘Carignano del Sulcis’ (a local grape
variety) vineyards and arrives at the Spiaggia dei Francesi,
Porto Pinetto, Candiani and Porto Pino.
